“GuardOne for Cars” and “GuardOne for Trucks” services are meant to handle, in automatic and real time mode, all alarm signals received 24 hour a day from the vehicles.
Every time the driver is entering the vehicle must be recognised by the GPS/GSM tracking system through a specific procedure (Personal code, transponder, remote control, electronic key).
Without this successful recognition the vehicle engine will not start. An alarm signal will be sent to the GuardOne Monitoring Centre which will react according to pre-established procedures.
These GuardOne services, when the requested accessories to the GPS/GSM tracking system are installed, offer the following alarm functions:
- Unauthorised vehicle start attempt alarm.
- Automatic robbery alarm
- Vehicles perimeter security violation (doors, bonnet, etc.) alarm
- Back door unauthorised opening alarm
- Trailer disconnection alarm
- Panic button alarm
- Crash sensor alarm
- Tampering with the system, sabotage alarm
- Vehicle tow away alarm
In case the vehicle is stolen while the engine is already on (car jacking) a specific automatic procedure will generate an alarm towards the Monitoring Centre and, if necessary, the Monitoring Centre will stop the engine herself.
“GuardOne for Cars” and “GuardOne for Trucks” services include a roadside assistance and sanitary assistance service all over Europe.
In any case the driver may always contact the Monitoring Centre for any alarm situation by pressing the Panic Button. The system my however generate automatic alarms towards the Monitoring Centre in case of accident.
All Monitoring Centre interventions are included in the annual monitoring service.
The “GuardOne for Truck” service includes particular services rendered “on consumption” upon request of the driver/owner:
- Request of position
- Route followed by the vehicle
- Alarm generated by the vehicle abandoning a pre-established route
- Back door opening or trailer disconnection at non-authorised locations
- Video check of the identity of the driver
- Messaging to and from the vehicle
- Temperature and other analogue parameters contro
